What a BOO-tiful time! 🧡 We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s BOO-GIE BASH such a spooktacular success! Our community came together to create a fun, festive, and memorable experience for everyone.

A special shoutout to Addis Police Department and West Baton Rouge Fire Department for helping keep our event safe, and to our hardworking city employees for making sure the park was clean, festive, and ready for all the Halloween fun!

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? I’m HERD is hosting (RAIN OR SHINE) The Cajun Classic: All Things With Chicken Cook-Off on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Addis Community Center, 7520 LA-1, Addis, LA 70710.

Join them and enjoy a fun-filled community event featuring delicious food, local vendors, shopping, music, a bake-off, and more!

🏆 Competitors will battle it out for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & People’s Choice
🍗 $10 wristbands to taste & vote
👧🏽 Kids eat FREE!
🛍️ Vendors and competitors are still being accepted

This FREE collection event provides residents with a safe and proper way to dispose of a variety of household hazardous materials.

Acids • Aerosol Cans • Batteries • Bleach & Cleaners • Bug Sprays • Cooking Oil • Fluorescent Bulbs • Paint & Paint Thinner • Pesticides • Fertilizers • Pool Chemicals • Electronics • Tires • Gasoline (less than 5 gallons) • Fire Extinguishers • Microwaves • and more!
