What a great evening for West Baton Rouge! We’re still feeling grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s Annual Industry Roundtable such a success.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us Monday evening, from our attendees and featured speakers to our panelists, sponsors, and community partners. Bringing people together for meaningful conversations about Louisiana’s economy, industry, and the future of our region takes a lot of support behind the scenes, and we’re thankful for every person who played a part in making it happen.

We’re especially grateful to our featured speaker, Dr. Loren C. Scott, our moderator, Desiree Lemoine, and our panelists Michelle Hardy, Brandon Maxwell, Wes Heinlein, and Jason DeCuir for sharing their time, experience, and insight with our community.

To our sponsors, thank you for investing in this event and helping us create opportunities for connection and conversation. And to everyone who helped with the planning, preparation, and coordination, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Most of all, thank you to the West Baton Rouge community for continuing to show up, support local initiatives, and make conversations like these possible. We’re proud to bring people together around the issues and opportunities shaping our region, and we look forward to what we can accomplish together next.

What a day! Yesterday, the Be Pro Be Proud Mobile Workshop rolled into town, giving WBR students a hands-on look at careers in the skilled trades, from operating industrial robotics to exploring high-demand technical fields. This interactive experience helps students see the real opportunities and pathways available beyond the traditional four-year college route, and it was great to see them jump right in!

The WBR Chamber is proud to work closely with WBRSchools to get students ready for the workforce. We hear from local businesses all the time that training is a huge part of hiring qualified workers, and events like this help build that pipeline right here at home.

Thank you to Be Pro Be Proud and everyone who made this possible, especially board member, ;)
