Supervisor Bobby Hernandez recently attended the Township Officials of Cook County (TOCC) Annual Conference, where township leaders gathered to discuss legislative updates, emerging issues, and best practices in local government.

The conference featured a legislative roundtable with state lawmakers and educational sessions on topics including artificial intelligence, mental health, veterans services, homelessness, and new laws affecting townships.

Attending conferences like TOCC helps Addison Township stay informed, build partnerships, and bring new ideas back to better serve our residents.

Today, Addison Township was honored to attend the DuPage County Board Time Capsule Ceremony, alongside DuPage mayors, village presidents, and countywide elected officials, as part of the celebration of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The time capsule contains photos, memorabilia, publications, and mementos that capture life in DuPage County in 2026, preserving a snapshot of our community for future generations. The capsule will remain closed for the next 25 years.
