🎾😍 YOU GUYS!!! IT'S SO NICE!!! 😍🎾

Seriously… have you SEEN our tennis courts lately?! 👀

We are getting SO excited as Phase 1 of our Tennis Court Rehabilitation Project is nearing completion, and WOW, what a difference! 🤩🎾

But we're not done yet!!

💡 Phase 2 will bring NEW light poles and lighting, followed by all NEW fencing to finish off this amazing transformation!

We know construction isn't always convenient, and we truly appreciate everyone's patience while we give these courts the makeover they deserve!

👏 Trust us… it's going to be worth the wait!

Congratulations to our A’ and B’ League Winners of the 2026 Adel Parks and Rec. Adult Bags League.

This year’s league featured 24 total teams spread out over 2 divisions.

Teams battled it out for 7 regular season weeks, finishing with last night’s Championship tournament.

Winners were awarded custom engraved mini corn hole boards, tumbler cups, and drink coasters from TK Engraving in Adel.

🚧 Trail Extension Project Coming to South 14th Street! 🚲

The City of Adel is excited to announce the upcoming Evans Park Trail Extension Project, beginning Monday, October 5, with an anticipated completion time of 20 working days.

This project will connect the Raccoon River Valley Trail to the Evans Park Trail, expanding recreational opportunities and enhancing connectivity and safety for our community.

🚶 Safety Improvements: Rapid-flashing beacons will be installed at the intersection of South 14th and Greene Street to improve pedestrian visibility and enhance safety for both pedestrians and motorists.

🌧️ ADULT BEAN BAGS LEAGUE UPDATE 🌧️

Due to the weather and the forecast for this evening, tonight’s Adult Bean Bags League games have been POSTPONED.

👉 Tonight’s games will be made up next Thursday, October 1.

Because of the schedule change, our end-of-season tournament will now begin Thursday, October 8.

🎾 TENNIS COURT IMPROVEMENTS ARE UNDERWAY! 🎾

Exciting improvements are coming to our tennis courts! Due to construction, the tennis courts are now CLOSED for the remainder of the season.

Crews will be working on several upgrades, including:

🎾 Court resurfacing
💡 New lighting
🚧 New fencing

We know it’s never easy to close a facility, but these improvements will make a BIG difference, and we’re excited for everyone to enjoy the updated courts next season!
