The Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County extends a heartfelt thank you to Betty Ryberg for bringing Dancing With The Aiken Stars back to Aiken and creating another wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in support of local nonprofits.

Betty’s dedication to Aiken and her passion for making a difference are what make her a true champion for the community. We are so grateful for the time, heart, and effort she puts into creating an event that celebrates the organizations working to make our community a better place.

We also want to thank everyone who helped make this special evening possible. Your contributions helped bring it all together, and we are honored to have been part of such a meaningful event.

Some acts of kindness carry a meaning that goes far beyond a gift.🩷

We are deeply touched by the generosity of the Joyful Women of Faith, who chose to honor the memory of Javeayah Harris through a heartfelt donation to the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County.

Javeayah’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of why child abuse prevention, early intervention, and speaking up for children matter so much. Every child deserves to be safe, protected, and surrounded by adults who will advocate for them. Support like this helps us continue working toward that mission and reaching children and families who need us.

To the Joyful Women of Faith, thank you for remembering Javeayah in such a meaningful way and for helping us carry this work forward. Your compassion is a beautiful reminder that even in the face of heartbreaking loss, we can honor a child’s memory by working to protect others. 💙

💜 We’re grateful to see the Cumbee Center featured in the news during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, helping shine a light on an issue that impacts individuals, families, and children throughout our community.

Domestic violence doesn’t just affect adults—it can have a lasting impact on children who witness or experience it. Raising awareness, supporting survivors, and connecting families with resources are important steps toward building safer, healthier communities.

Thank you to the Cumbee Center for the important work you do to support survivors and bring awareness to this critical issue. 💜
