Over Fall Break it was National Instructional Coaches Day! We are lucky to have the best out there with Ms. Schulte! She works day in and day out to ensure that our OWES family has what they need. From crunching the data, teaching mini lesson, reading in classes, planning events, and just being a listening ear, Ms. Schulte brings the magic every day! We appreciate all that you do! Thank you for making the world a better place!

Did you hear? The BEST little school in the country is once again putting themselves on the map! Our Wise Owl family is truly one of a kind!

📚 ACPSD IS MAKING THE GRADE!

The 2026 South Carolina School Report Cards have been released, and there's a lot to celebrate across Aiken County Public Schools!

Nearly half (48.8%) of our schools earned Good or Excellent overall ratings, our second-highest percentage in 20 years! And for the second consecutive year, not a single ACPSD school received an Unsatisfactory rating.

Congratulations to our five schools earning Excellent overall ratings:

⭐ Aiken Scholars Academy
⭐ Hammond Hill Elementary
⭐ Highland Springs Middle School
⭐ Millbrook Elementary
⭐ Oakwood-Windsor Elementary

We're also celebrating strong results at the high school level, with every district high school earning a Good or Excellent rating in College and Career Readiness!

Aiken Scholars Academy was recently as the state's best high school for the second consecutive year, and number 14 nationally by U.S. News & World Report!

These results are worth celebrating, and so are the students, teachers, school leaders, and staff whose hard work makes this progress possible. We know there's more work ahead, but we're proud of how far we've come and excited about what's next!
