It was a privilege to welcome Dick McConn back to Air Force CyberWorx!

As one of the visionaries behind the AF CyberWorx program, Mr. McConn played an important role in shaping the vision that established who we are today. His visit offered an opportunity to reflect on that vision, see how the program has evolved, and look toward where it can go next.

We’re grateful to have him back in the space and to hear his perspective on the program he helped envision!

Last week, our Deputy Director, Lt Col John McKee, spoke at Catalyst Campus for Technology & Innovation's (CCTI) SBIR/STTR Workshop, sharing perspective on the DoW's approach to working with small businesses and the opportunities available to companies developing new technologies.

AF CyberWorx currently has a number of SBIR/STTR efforts underway with industry to explore and develop solutions to identified operational challenges. Lt Col McKee’s participation in the workshop provided an opportunity to share perspective from that work and contribute to the broader discussion around SBIR/STTR opportunities.

Through our Partnership Intermediary Agreement with CCTI, we can leverage CCTI’s industry network to identify companies with relevant capabilities and help facilitate connections as these opportunities move forward.

Thank you to CCTI for hosting the workshop! 👏

It’s been a great few days at Air & Space Forces Association’s Air, Space & Cyber Conference, sharing the week with our Air Combat Command counterparts! 🛰️

This year's conference was a great opportunity to showcase AF CyberWorx and be part of the conversations happening across the Air Force and Space Force. We appreciated the opportunity to meet with Brig Gen Jeff Phillips, HAF/A6, during the conference!

Thank you to everyone who spent time with the AF CyberWorx team this week. We’ll see you next year!

Our team had a successful first day at the Air & Space Forces Association's Air Space & Cyber Conference!

We spent the day having conversations around the challenges and opportunities shaping the DoW community. There were a lot of good conversations, and a lot of ideas worth taking back to the team!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to talk with us today. We’ll be back at it tomorrow. 🤝🇺🇸

September 11, 2001, changed countless lives and left a lasting mark on the nation.

The lives lost. The families who never got to say goodbye. The first responders who ran toward danger. The service members who answered the call in the years that followed. And the ordinary Americans who came together in the face of extraordinary loss.

On Patriot Day, their stories, their sacrifice, and the impact they left on a nation are remembered.

Cadets from the Martinson Honors program at the United States Air Force Academy recently visited us at the Madera Cyber Innovation Center for a crash course on the science of applied creative thinking in complex environments! 🧠💡

These future officers must think across tactical, operational, and strategic levels while understanding the perspectives and environments that shape complex challenges. They can then apply that understanding to develop new approaches to leadership and problem-solving for the Joint Force.

Techniques like these are often taught in advanced professional military education and war colleges; however, we believe it’s never too early to develop the thinking skills needed to lead and solve problems in an increasingly complex world. 🚀

Through a four-year Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract, AF CyberWorx will manage continued development of Stratom, Inc.'s Autonomous Pallet Loader.

The project will build on previous research and testing to advance autonomous cargo-handling capabilities toward operational evaluation and potential deployment, with U.S. Transportation Command awarding the contract and U.S. Central Command, the U.S. Marine Corps, and the U.S. Air Force contributing to development and testing.

It was great to welcome Lt Gen Moga, Superintendent of the United States Air Force Academy, to Air Force CyberWorx at the Madera Cyber Innovation Center!

Lt Gen Moga got a firsthand look at the work happening at AF CyberWorx and the teams working to connect the right people, ideas, and capabilities to solve challenges for the Air Force. This is such a great space for cadets to learn in an environment that connects their classroom experience with the work happening around them

We appreciate Lt Gen Moga taking the time to visit and engage with the AF CyberWorx team!
