Important Calendar Correction: District-Wide Early Dismissal on November 20th

Please note an important correction to the printed school calendar delivered to homes. For Friday, November 20th, the printed calendar incorrectly states that only the High School will dismiss early.

Friday, November 20th is a Staff Conference Day, meaning ALL students across the district will be dismissed early at 11:30 AM.

We apologize for the oversight and any confusion this may have caused. Please update your home calendars to reflect that Friday, November 20th is a district-wide 11:30 AM early dismissal for all students so staff can participate in afternoon professional conferences.

Throwback Thursday to 2007 and the absolute peak of middle school weekend plans! Who else remembers the middle school government-sponsored Friday Fun Nights? 🚴‍♂️💨

Nothing said "elite athlete" quite like rolling up to a 14-mile bike path race with a baseline mountain bike, a helmet that didn't fit right, and enough snacks to power a small village. 14 miles felt like riding across the entire state of New York back then, but we survived on pure adrenaline, late-2000s energy, and teenage chaos.

Shoutout to everyone who actually finished the trek, and whoever convinced the town to let a bunch of middle schoolers dominate the bike paths for the night.

Look at these fits—the hoodies, the classic helmets, the pure determination. Drop a comment if you were there or if you recognize anyone in the crew! 👇
