The public is invited to attend a School Board Candidate Forum tonight, at 6:30 p.m. in the Tippecanoe Valley High School Auditorium.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Please enter through Door 22.
Candidates for District 3 include:
Shelly Engle
Joe Secrist
Jamie Murphy
Also on the ballot is Tom Bauters, who is running unopposed for District 4.
Jeff Brown has filed as a write-in candidate to replace Todd Hoffman, who currently represents District 5.
During the forum, candidates will respond to questions developed by government students that focus on the roles and responsibilities of school board members. The event will be co-moderated by Mr. Jonathan Tinkey and Mr. Micah Lukens.
Community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the candidates prior to the upcoming election. The forum is expected to last just over one hour.
We encourage all community members to join us for this valuable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and become informed before Election Day.

Finishing second for the Vikings was Adric Shock, who crossed the line in 20:26. Adric wrapped up his sophomore season with a personal record, improving 45 seconds overall and 3:05 during the season.

Close behind was Andrew Wise, who finished third for Valley in 20:10. Andrew completed his freshman campaign with an impressive 2:42 season improvement and recorded two season-best performances.

The battle for fourth place was one of the closest of the day, with just one-hundredth of a second separating teammates Wyatt Whetstone and Everest Lipsey at the finish line.

Wyatt posted a season-best time of 22:47.9 and concluded his freshman season with five season bests and a remarkable 3:49 improvement.

Everest finished in 22:48, ending the year with four season bests and an overall improvement of 2:09.

Sixth on the boys' side was Darryn Miller. In his first season with the team, Darryn recorded a season-best time of 23:29. The sophomore tallied five season bests and improved an impressive 5:51 from the beginning of the season.

Representing the Vikings on the girls' side was Katie Sterk, who finished her junior season in 25:49. Katie recorded five season bests and improved her time by 3:20 over the course of the season.

As you see members of our Viking Cross Country Team, be sure to congratulate them on their hard work, dedication, and a fantastic season. We are proud of all they accomplished this year!

The season may be over, but the impact of Unified Football continues to shine! 🏈

At Tippecanoe Valley High School, Unified Football is about so much more than the score. It’s about teamwork, inclusion, friendships, and celebrating every athlete who takes the field.

We are proud of our athletes, coaches, and supporters who made this past season such a success. Even though the season has ended, the memories, connections, and lessons learned will last a lifetime.
