📅 Here is a link to the updated 2026-2027 school year calendar, as found on our school website: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12B0XLNystKLXnDQNc2KkbJ2jXuEnpCkZ/view

🗳️ During the last legislative session, a law was passed adding a second enrollment count date for schools.

💲 School funding is figured off of this information, so it is very crucial for our budget.

✅ Our school year calendar was approved before the law was passed so we, and many other schools across Iowa, are making small adjustments to our school calendar. This will ensure we continue to receive full funding for students who graduate mid year, as we always have.

📢 Here are the changes that were made:
*Last day of the first semester is now Friday, January 15.
*Full day of in-service is now Monday, January 18. No school for students.
*First day of the second semester is now Tuesday, January 19.

🙂 Thank you and please let us know if you have questions.

Please Note:
*Livestream Links: Just as an FYI…this is always the time of year when social media spambots go crazy with fake regional livestreaming links, many of which come from accounts that look like . Our IGHSAU social media accounts will never post links on our social media to your schools’ streaming services.*
