Free Community Christmas Dinner Although our founder passed away in April, 2009, her legacy continues through the generous donations and efforts of the community. Box 1981, Alamosa, CO 81101.

The FREE Community Christmas Dinner received its classification as a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization in November, 2012. Due to the COVID and RSV health concerns, the directors of the FCCD (aka FREE Community Christmas Dinner) has voted to cancel this year's 'IN PERSON' 2022 Christmas Day Dinner event. In lieu of the dinner, FCCD will provide $8,500 to various groups that can still assist our San Luis Valley Residents with food, gifts, etc during the 2022 Christmas holiday season. If you would like to donate to our cause, please mail your donations to FCCD, P.O. The health risks are simply too great to bring hundreds of people together. The last dinner we served was in 2019, and we fed roughly 800 guests, which included an estimated delivery of 100 homebound meals. Previously, our committee of volunteers was able to coordinate a sit-down turkey dinner with all the fixings, musical entertainment and even had a visit from Santa who provided all the children with presents.
