🌟 Event Spotlight: Superhero Academy for Veterans & First Responders 🌟

What an incredible day of healing, connection, and empowerment!

On October 17, Every Horse Counts hosted the Superhero Academy for Veterans and First Responders at Justin Stables, creating a powerful experience that blended horsemanship, nervous system regulation, and meaningful human connection.

Participants had the opportunity to bond with the amazing Superhero Rescue Horses unicorns - Madison, James Bond, Rex, and Lightening Bug - who helped create moments of trust, reflection, and joy throughout the day.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated volunteers whose horsemanship, wisdom, compassion, and generosity made this event possible. Special thanks to Cody and Ashley of Justin Stables for providing a safe, peaceful, welcoming, and professional environment that fostered healing and growth for everyone involved.

The success of this event is a testament to the power of community, connection, and the unique bond between humans and horses. We are excited to share that these programs are planned to continue on a quarterly basis at Justin Stables.

Update: Thanks to a supporter in the comments for sharing this photo.

The ride was completed around 3 PM, where they were greeted by supporters at the finish. While they had hoped to attend the funeral of a fallen veteran we tragically lost to su***de, the timing unfortunately did not work out and they were unable to make it. Even so, this final leg of the ride was dedicated to him. Veteran su***de is one of the reasons this mission exists. Every mile ridden is for those still fighting, for those we've lost, and for the families and communities left behind. Today is a reminder that the mission extends far beyond the finish line.

They are taking some much-needed time to rest and spend time with supporters before beginning the journey back home to the Hudson Valley.

More stories from this journey will be shared in the coming days once they have had time to rest, reflect, and process all they have experienced. Thank you all for your continued support. 🇺🇸❤️

The mission never ends.
