I had a wonderful time joining Senator James Skoufis and our Woodbury seniors for the Senior Luncheon!

It’s always a pleasure spending time with our seniors, hearing their stories, listening to what’s on their minds, and enjoying some great conversation.

Thank you to Senator Skoufis and everyone who helped organize such a welcoming event. I’m grateful for every opportunity to connect directly with the people who make our communities so special.

Looking forward to many more gatherings like this across the Hudson Valley!

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and in recognition of it I joined Fearless Hudson Valley, Inc. at their annual “Clothesline Project”

Every year, Fearless! holds this powerful display outside the Orange County Government center in Goshen. It features over 600 t-shirts with messages from victims and their families, many of which are heartbreaking to read. I’ve attended every Clothesline Project since the organization’s inception, and every year is difficult as each new story is added.

Fearless! and their organizers go through incredible lengths to help those facing domestic violence situations, and work towards raising awareness to break the silence that often surrounds domestic violence.

I will continue to stand with them in this fight, both through grant funding secured by my office to support their programs and through supporting legislation up in Albany to bolster our laws assisting survivors and punishing perpetrators.

It's Never Too Early to Plan to Save a Life!

The need for blood doesn't stop when the holidays arrive. In fact, the busy holiday season can make it more challenging for people to find time to donate.

That's why we're getting an early start! Our goal is to fill every appointment slot and collect as much blood as possible this December to help ensure that patients have access to lifesaving donations when they need them most.

I'm proud to sponsor an American Red Cross Blood Drive and invite our community to come together for this important cause.

📅 Thursday, December 17, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Munger Cottage Senior Center
183 Main Street, Cornwall, NY
🎁 Special Holiday Thank You! Donate between December 7–17 and receive a $20 e-gift card of your choice!
🩸 Schedule your appointment today!

🔎 Sponsor Code: Eachus

December may seem far away, but we're asking everyone to sign up now! Whether you're a first-time donor or a regular donor, your participation can make a lifesaving difference.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, family, and neighbors.

Let's fill every appointment slot and make this December blood drive a success! ❤️

What a fun time visiting the Monroe Free Library and getting a little messy making slime with some amazing young scientists!

After spending 40 years as a teacher, it is always a pleasure to return to a classroom-like environment, especially one filled with so much curiosity, creativity, laughter, and excitement!

There is something truly special about watching children learn through hands-on activities, ask questions, experiment, and have fun along the way.

Thank you to the Monroe Free Library for having me and to all the wonderful kids who made this such a memorable visit!

I may have retired from teaching, but my love for education and inspiring young minds will always be part of who I am!

What an honor to welcome the United States Air Force Thunderbirds to New York State!

The Thunderbirds represent the incredible skill, discipline, and dedication of the men and women of the United States Air Force. It was a privilege to welcome them to the Empire State and recognize the service and sacrifice of all those who proudly serve our country.

Welcome to New York, Thunderbirds!

Three years ago today, a terrorist onslaught took the lives of over 1,200 people and forever changed the lives of 250 hostages, many of whom never returned home. Including 46 American citizens who were killed and 12 who were abducted and faced unimaginable horrors.

Make no mistake, this cowardly direct attack on innocent civilians shook the lives of families here in NY and across the world. What has come afterwards has been continued death and destruction of innocent lives across all borders, with no end in sight.

Let us not forget the names of our citizens forever changed that day (publicly made available by the families):

What a great weekend in our communities!

I had a wonderful time attending both the Stony Point Fall Festival and Woodbury Day!
It was great seeing so many friends, neighbors, families, local organizations, and businesses come together to enjoy these community traditions.

One of the best parts of representing the 99th Assembly District is getting out into our communities, talking with residents, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting new ones.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make both events possible, and to everyone who stopped to say hello!

Great days in Stony Point and Woodbury!

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

As someone who spent 40 years as an educator, I know firsthand the dedication, patience, and heart teachers bring to their classrooms every single day.

Teachers do far more than teach lessons. They inspire confidence, open doors, support families, and help shape the next generation.

This World Teachers’ Day, I want to thank the incredible educators across the 99th Assembly District and throughout New York State for everything you do for our students and our communities.

I will always be proud to stand with our teachers and support the profession that meant so much to me for four decades.

Thank you, teachers! 🍎❤️
