Join us at the New York State Museum next week for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum's Contemporary Indigenous Art Collection! The tour will be led by Gwen Saul, the curator of cultural anthropology at the NYSM. Attendees will learn about the origin and growth of the collection, explore themes in contemporary Indigenous art across the state, and become familiar with contemporary Haudenosaunee and Shinnecock artists.

Congrats to our Codergarten Class of 2026!! 🎓🎓🎓 Over multiple weeks, these cool kids solved puzzles, explored logic, and learned all about coding. Great job! Proud of yall!

Our next Turntable Takeover has us turning our ears to late-90s and early-2000s Nu Metal 🤘🤘🤘 Explore how deejays were included in rock/metal bands and the soundscape that was created by the late 90s that emphasized down-tuned guitars, funky drums and other elements derived from the hip hop construction kit.
