Monteith House Built in 1849 by Albany founders Thomas and Walter Monteith, come experience this immersive museum. That way each of them could sleep on his own land.

The Monteith House was built in 1849 by brothers Thomas and Walter Monteith. It was the first frame house built in Albany and they built the house with the centerline between their land claims. The Monteith family was instrumental in the development of Albany and with high aspirations named it after the capital of their home state: New York.

Due to overwhelming demand—and because the other nights SOLD OUT—we’ve added one final night for our VIP Paranormal Investigation at the historic Monteith House.
