Joint canvass for Senator Patricia Fahy this afternoon! Senator Fahy is running for re-election in State Senate District 46. Senator Fahy has been a leading champion for working families of the Capital Region for over a decade. In the Senate, Sen. Fahy has prioritized affordable higher education, fought back against utility rate hikes, and strengthened healthcare access. Election day is one month away (Nov. 3), with early voting beginning on Oct. 24. 🍁

Do you ever ask yourself, "What If..." in your community?

We are happy to announce that our friends at the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc. are launching another round of "What If..." Mini Grants in October. Residents across Albany County can apply for a mini grant to improve their community.

What If..." grant applicants must attend a Community Information Meeting either on October 7 or 8 from 5-6:30pm at the Albany Community Action Partnership (333 Sheridan Ave., Albany). You must attend one meeting to receive the application information. A light dinner will be served. To register for a meeting, call or email Jenna Cuilla ([email protected] or 518-720-0006) to discuss your idea. If the idea is a good fit for a "What If..." Mini Grant, then you will be registered for an October Community Information Meeting.
