Ride for the Alive - American Legion Post 10 This is a tribute ride to honor our veterans who continue to serve. Started in 2014 by American Legion Riders of Post 10, Albany Oregon Make it your own.

Too many times we attend funerals and memorial services and wish we had told our friend how much we appreciated everything they did for us and for our veterans. This ride was started to help all of us tell our veterans how much we appreciate everything they have done for our country and for our veterans and their families. Tell them how we feel while they are still "alive." Thus, the "RIDE FOR THE ALIVE" began it's first journey on August 30, 2014. Take this concept and "ride" with it!

Ride for the Alive

This year's tribute ride will be a scenic run through some of the valley's favorite places. Since we have KSU around 10am we know we'll be back to the Post in Albany before the chili is ready to be served at 4 so our Ride Captain suggested we dig into our old DVDs and find "Wild Hogs" to lighten up the afternoon. As soon as the chow line is done we'll start honoring and/or roasting our nominees for this year. Bring your best stories to share. You know we all have them! Let's show them some love while they are here with us to enjoy it. That's what this day is all about.
