As adult facilities get raided for fraud by the FBI, let's not forget Democrats rammed through a bill that would provide automatic voter registration for those applying for or re-enrolling in Medicaid- including ineligible or fraudulent enrollees or applying for documentation at DMV. Not only is our medical system being overwhelmed by fraudulent claims but the very sanctity of our Democracy is being rotten to its core.

No one should have to fear for their lives when trying to go to work. That is why we need to provide a seat for the MTAPD Chief of Police and representatives from the MTAPD PBA on the MTA Board to ensure their focus is on protecting their riders and enforce stricter penalties for offenses committed while using public transportation. This decline in standards is all due to Hochul’s and Democrats' inability to recognize realities and meet the needs of correctional officers: Safer working conditions and the basic assurance that the people in charge of them will have their back when the going gets tough. And because of this, not only is morale at an all time low, but we have a hiring crisis because people are smart enough to understand when they are not getting a fair deal nor the protection they need.

All this is doing is pushing folks away from working in a city that is already taxing both its residents and visitors to Albany to the bone. This will harm everything from business and local commerce to essential workers like nurses and doctors who commute everyday to help keep our healthcare system running. Another unnecessary cost passed onto non-residents to fix a deficit that is the fault of Albany’s leaders who do not understand the day to day realities nor how to balance the budget.

School is back in session, and that means school buses are back on the road! This week, we promote ways to keep our children and bus drivers safe. Pay attention to the drivers hand signals before crossing the street to board, and remember, cars must ALWAYS STOP for school buses! 🚸🚌
