🚑🚒 Career Exploration in Action at AMS! 🐾💙

It was a BIG day in our Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes at Albemarle Middle School! Our Bulldogs had some exciting opportunities to explore careers, learn from local professionals, and celebrate their hard work!

🚑 8th Grade: Students welcomed representatives from Stanly County EMS! Lt. Makayla and Caitlyn shared what it takes to work in emergency medical services, why they chose this career, and the important role EMS professionals play in our community. Students even had the opportunity to explore an ambulance and ask questions!

🚒 7th Grade: Students learned all about firefighting from Al Beasley, Chief Firefighter and Albemarle High School instructor! They explored the tools of the trade, learned about the path to becoming a firefighter, and even tried on real firefighting gear!

🍿 6th Grade: Our youngest Bulldogs wrapped up the first quarter by celebrating their hard work and accomplishments in CTE with a fun popcorn bar!

A HUGE thank-you to our community partners for taking the time to invest in our students! We are incredibly grateful for your service, your sacrifices, and your willingness to inspire the next generation.

Special thanks to Mrs. Kelly Brock, our Career Development Coordinator, for helping provide these meaningful learning experiences for our Bulldogs!

💙🐾 At AMS, we’re not just preparing students for the next grade — we’re helping them discover the possibilities for their futures!
