What does it cost to train a leader?

At Emerge New Mexico, we are proud to present all Signature Program participants with the tools, resources, and connections necessary for success in their pursuit of public office. Our robust program ensures participants receive high-quality training in all aspects of state politics and election campaigns.

If you need another reason to apply, the Emerge NM Signature Program is valued at $12,000 per participant, but our tuition is only $300, the lowest of any Emerge state program nationwide!

Happy Indigenous People’s Day!

As we take this day of rest, we also take the time to honor the history, culture, and resilience of Native American, Alaska Native, and Hawaiian Native communities. We call for the eradication of systemic barriers and injustices that continue to harm these communities on their own native lands.

Emerge New Mexico is proud to be a driving force in bringing democratic Native American women and non-binary leaders to the forefront of New Mexico politics. We will continue this work to ensure our communities have representatives at every level of government who reflect the diversity of all New Mexicans.

Over the last 20 years, Emerge New Mexico’s Emergistas have created positive change across our state and nation.

During that time, 513 brave women and non-binary leaders have participated in our Signature Program or Bootcamps, gaining the guidance, skills, and tools to pursue public office.

Today, 118 Emergistas are serving in elected office, from school boards to Congress, leading with purpose and a commitment to creating a safer, stronger New Mexico for all.

This November, 42 Emergistas will be on the ballot in the midterm elections, continuing Emerge New Mexico's legacy of preparing and empowering the next generation of public leaders.

We are beyond proud of our Emergistas, and we are grateful they chose Emerge New Mexico to be part of their journeys. 💙

We are on the search for our Class of 2027, and we want you to know that if you are a woman or nonbinary leader who is ready to run and win, the 2027 Signature Program is for you!

For our next cohort, we will be placing emphasis on aspiring candidates who wish to run for office in the next two years. If you want to be in public office, we have the resources and training to make it happen! If you wish to run later in the future, we still encourage you to learn about our Signature Program, eligibility requirements and application process, and to apply if the timing feels right for you.
