Join us for a youth-led town hall this Sunday, October 25th from 11am to 1pm!

Youth from around New Mexico have worked to craft their priorities for our gubernatorial candidates. We will reflect on the process they engaged in, and gather community feedback for potential legislative demands. This is a hybrid event, both in-person and online.

Meet Espi! From Student to Mentor—your support made this possible! ❤️🌟✊🏽

“SWOP has honestly helped me in so many ways. It's kept me out of trouble, SWOP is a safe place, it's like the family you never knew you needed.”

Youth development has always been at the heart of SWOP’s work. Your support helps shape the future of New Mexico by creating opportunities for young people to engage in our programs—where they learn the history of organizing and build skills that support their growth and success.

All of our videos were created and edited by youth interns! Stay tuned for more highlights and please consider donating by using the link below to help maintain SWOP’s youth programs. Thank you!

“This organization definitely helped me as a young person find my path and my purpose. It showed me that I have a stake in my community-- that I have a voice and I can make real impact in a way that works.” – Darla Chavez, SWOP Staff Office Manager
