Treasury Briefs is all about connecting our community to resources, and the BernCo Behavioral Health has some great programs offering the help many need.

Building stability starts with support. The Family Wellness Program offers 120 days of guided, compassionate assistance to help families secure housing, find employment, and move toward independence. With daily check‑ins, case management, free breakfast, laundry access, transportation, and on‑site staff 7 days a week, the Behavioral Health team is helping residents move forward — safely, confidently, and together. 🌟

As part of Treasury Briefs, help us spread the word about a program offering free groceries to eligible seniors and keep our community nourished, connected, and thriving. ❤️ Low‑income seniors, and all veterans with proof of service, can pick up free groceries twice a month at county partner food pantries.

Who's excited for chile season in Bernalillo County?!🌶️We are!

Treasury Briefs is highlighting a local, free event where residents can learn how to safely preserve their chile harvest! Techniques include: freezing, drying, freeze‑drying, and pressure‑canning. Every participant takes home a preserved chile product!
