Pope Leo XIV has announced that he will undergo surgery to remove a lung nodule recently detected during medical examinations. The Holy Father revealed that the nodule was discovered at an early stage and is well localized. Following medical advice, he has decided to undergo the procedure and is scheduled to be admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital on Tuesday. As our beloved Holy Father prepares for surgery, let us unite in heartfelt prayer, asking our Lord Jesus Christ, the Divine Physician, to guide the surgeons, bless the medical team with wisdom, and grant Pope Leo XIV a successful operation, complete healing, a swift recovery, and renewed strength to continue shepherding the Church. May the Blessed Virgin Mary surround him with her maternal love and protection. Amen. 🙏🏻

Special congratulations to Barbara Hanosh on receiving the 2026 Archbishop's St. Francis of Assisi award. May God bless Barbara for her many years of dedicated service to San Felipe Neri, and may the patron Saint of our Archdiocese of Santa Fe Official intercede on her behalf. May she always find joy in serving God.

The San Felipe Neri Women's Bible Study Group will be hosting a Rosary for the Feast of Our Lady of Holy Rosary on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:00-7:00pm. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come and pray with us. Rosary will be said in the church.
