ESGR NM State Chair W***y Griego was back at it again today and visited Sandia National Laboratories. Wait, that's not Sandia Labs. That's Linda's Dolci Authentic Italian Bakery. Convenient for a presentation. Our Patriot Award recipient, Amanda Armenta, a HR specialist was telecommuting for work today. She was nominated by Rami Azar, Army Reserve Retired. Thank you for supporting Rami!

ESGR NM State Chair W***y Griego visited Sandia National Laboratories and presented the Patriot Award to Rob Kress, supervisor. Rob is a retired LTC with the US Army and Idaho Army National Guard. 30 plus years total. Nominator is Aaron Szucs ANG from the 150th LRS Special Operations Wing. Thank you for supporting Aaron!

Multi-Agency Flood Response Appreciation

The Mora County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all agencies, county officials, and personnel who assisted Mora County during the recent flooding and emergency response operations.

Pictured below are some of the dedicated individuals who came together following our multi-agency coordination meetings to ensure our communities received the assistance, resources, and protection needed during this emergency.

We would like to recognize and thank the following agencies and organizations for their continued support and assistance:

From emergency response and swift-water rescue operations to road closures, roadway repairs, emergency medical services, dispatch communications, and coordinating resources, each agency played an important role in protecting the residents of Mora County.

This response demonstrated the importance of teamwork, communication, and strong partnerships between agencies. Regardless of the uniform, department, or assignment, everyone came together with one common goal: protecting lives and serving our communities.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Mora County Commissioners and County Manager for their continued support, leadership, and coordination throughout this emergency.

To our neighboring agencies, emergency responders, dispatchers, road crews, county officials, and everyone who stepped up when our community needed assistance — THANK YOU!

Your dedication, professionalism, and willingness to assist did not go unnoticed. We are grateful for the partnerships that allow us to come together during times of emergency.

As recovery efforts continue, we ask residents to remain cautious when traveling through flood-affected areas and to respect road closures and personnel working in these locations.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we serve Mora County.

ESGR NM State Chair W***y Griego briefed the soldiers of the New Mexico National Guard's 226th Military Police Battalion at the Yellow Ribbon pre-deployment brief on USERRA. Attendance was 135.
