At Retiree Health Care Authority, we work hard each and every day to support you and your well-being. Join us this summer as we embark on a walking challenge to virtually Backpack Around Europe. This is a fun and practical well-being challenge to help you increase your physical activity.

The American Heart Association recommends adults get 30 minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week. One simple yet powerful way to enhance your overall health and wellness is to increase your daily steps.

The walking challenge allows more than just daily steps; you can also track different activities which is converted into steps. Everyday activities such as gardening, and housework increase your activity and steps each day!

Challenge Details
• Challenge Dates: June 1 – June 30.
• Open to all retirees!
• Participants are encouraged to walk 6,000 steps each day during the month of June.
