I know you've all been wondering, and we can finally update you!

Paving work on Park Ave and 4th Street will begin MONDAY 10/5 with this tentative timeline:
Monday: final prep work for the road base
Tuesday: raise manhole lids and valve boxes
Wednesday through Friday: paving operations starting on Park Ave

A piece of news we are happy to share for those of you on 4th Street! BOTH sides of the street will now be getting repaved instead of just the South half.

REMINDER for all: We ask non-residents to avoid these new roads if possible and residents in this area to reduce the amount of driving on the new asphalt as much as possible for the first 24 hours.

Please remember ALL dogs must be kept on a leash or somehow tied up at all times when outside!

For the second time this week we have received complaints of dogs running at large. This is a reminder that this is prohibited by City Ordinance 5.0202 and is punishable by fine and if any dog running at large does not have a visible tag it can be deemed a stray and impounded at the Owner's expense. Both of these reports also included that these dogs showed aggression. While we all know that this can just be a sign of fear in dogs City Ordinance 5.0206 allows for these dogs to be deemed as vicious.

Link to City Ordinances below, see page 40-44 of the document for referenced ordinances:
