🧭✨ HIPPY Alexander City — Navigating the Journey Together! ✨🧭

Alexander City Schools HIPPY leaders and Home Visitors recently attended the 2026 Parents as Teachers International Conference in Portland, Oregon!

This year’s theme, “Navigate,” focused on strengthening home visiting practices, promoting self-care, building meaningful partnerships with parents, meeting the diverse needs of families, and preparing young children for success in their early years and beyond.

Throughout the conference, our HIPPY team had the opportunity to explore new strategies, gain valuable resources, exchange ideas, and connect with other professionals who share a passion for early childhood education and family engagement.

💙 Their mission? To bring back new knowledge, practical tools, and innovative ideas that will benefit the children and families of Alexander City Schools!

As our HIPPY leaders and Home Visitors continue to NAVIGATE new opportunities, overcome challenges, and discover pathways to success, they are excited to put what they have learned into action and continue making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of the families they serve.

🏡💙 HIPPY Alexander City — Navigating the journey together, one family and one child at a time! 🧭✨

It's a great day to be a Wildcat! 💙🐾

🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🍎

On October 5, Alexander City Schools is proud to recognize and celebrate the many wonderful teachers who serve our students each day at Jim Pearson Elementary School, N.H. Stephens Intermediate School, Radney Junior High School, and Benjamin Russell High School.

Teaching is about so much more than lessons, assignments, and grades. Our teachers encourage, challenge, guide, inspire, and believe in our students. They help students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, develop confidence, and prepare for opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Every day, our teachers invest their time, talents, energy, and hearts into helping students learn and grow. They celebrate successes, provide encouragement during difficult moments, build relationships with families, and work together with colleagues to create schools where students can thrive.

The influence of a great teacher can last a lifetime. The lessons they teach help shape not only successful students, but also future leaders, professionals, parents, neighbors, and community members.

To every teacher across Alexander City Schools: Thank you for your dedication, hard work, compassion, patience, and commitment to our students. Thank you for believing in their potential and for making a difference every single day.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are grateful for all you do for our students, families, schools, and community.

💙🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day — October 5! 🍎💙
