Our next event at Kent House is the 33rd Annual Sugar Day on Saturday, November 14th, and we are looking for vendors to join us!

Sugar Day is one of our biggest events of the year, and we would love for you to be a part of it! Whether you're a returning vendor or interested in joining us for the first time, we'd love to hear from you!

It’s been a busy month here at Kent House! Last week we were happy to host the local Public Relations Association of Louisiana- Cenla Chapter for lunch and a “field trip!”

Members took our Kent House “Mourning Tour,” only given in the month of October.

Tours of the house are available daily, Monday through Saturday. Stop by our gift shop or give us a call for more information.

What a wonderful Fall Herb Day!

We had a fantastic turnout, and thankfully, the rain held off! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported this year’s Fall Herb Day, Arts & Crafts Festival & Yard Sale at Kent House!

A very special thank you goes out to all of our amazing vendors! Your time, hard work, and dedication are what make this event possible year after year. We truly could not do it without you!

We are so grateful for the continued support of our community and everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!

We were pleased to welcome the Louisiana Association of Museums for a visit today while they are in town for their annual conference, "LAMcon 2026: Past, Present and Possible Futures." The group enjoyed a morning session at Kent House, along with a tour and lunch.

🏷️ We Need Your Yard Sale Donations!

Our Fall Herb Day, Arts & Crafts Festival & Yard Sale is coming up on Saturday, October 3, and we’re getting ready for our Yard Sale!

Doing a little fall cleaning? If you have gently used household items, home décor, kitchenware, books, small furniture, or other treasures you no longer need, we would love to take them off your hands!

📦 Donations can be dropped off at the Kent House prior to the event.
📍 3601 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria

Take a look around the house, clean out those closets and cabinets, and send those items our way! We would greatly appreciate your support.
