Join us October 26–30 for a week of school spirit, kindness, and healthy choices!

Monday: Favorite team jersey or school colors
Tuesday: Wear black
Wednesday: Pajama Day
Thursday: Favorite book character
Friday: Wear red

Families, join the fun! Help your child plan their outfits and talk about making healthy, positive choices.

One Pumpkin, Two Therapies, Lots of Learning!

Our JAES students had a gourd-geous time carving pumpkins during Speech & OT !

Speech: Following directions, sequencing, describing, and social communication.
OT: Fine motor skills, hand strength, coordination, and sensory exploration.

Families, keep the fun going! Try a fall activity together and encourage your child to describe, count, and explain each step.

¡Una calabaza, dos terapias y mucho por aprender!

¡En JAES nos divertimos tallando calabazas mientras aprendíamos y desarrollábamos nuevas habilidades en nuestras sesiones de Terapia del Habla y Lenguaje y Terapia Ocupacional!

Habla y lenguaje: Seguir instrucciones, contar los pasos en orden, describir y compartir ideas con los demás.

Terapia ocupacional: Fortalecer las manos, mejorar la motricidad fina, coordinar movimientos y explorar diferentes texturas.

¡Familias, la diversión continúa en casa! Aprovechen las actividades de otoño para conversar, contar objetos y animar a sus hijos a explicar lo que están haciendo.

Big Ideas, Amazing Creations!

Our 4th Grade Advanced Academic Services (AAS) students brought creativity and learning together through their ELA diorama projects! Each diorama reflects their imagination, hard work, and attention to detail.

Boo-tiful Learning & Spook-tacular Science in Speech Therapy!
Who knew ghosts could make learning so much fun? This week at JAES, our speech and language sessions came alive with Ten Timid Ghosts! Students practiced answering wh-questions, following directions, using descriptive language, improving articulation, and strengthening social communication skills. We even added a little science magic with a Dancing Ghost Magnet activity!
Stories, science, and a little ghostly fun—learning at its best!

¡Fantasmas, ciencia y mucho aprendizaje en terapia del habla y lenguaje!
¿Quién dijo que los fantasmas no pueden ayudarnos a aprender? Esta semana, en JAES, nuestras sesiones cobraron vida con el cuento "Ten Timid Ghosts"(Diez fantasmas tímidos). Los estudiantes practicaron cómo responder a preguntas, seguir instrucciones, utilizar un lenguaje descriptivo, mejorar la articulación de los sonidos y fortalecer sus habilidades de comunicación social.
¡Y la diversión continuó con un toque de magia científica y una actividad de bailarines fantasma utilizando imanes!
