Regrettably, we are writing to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are rescheduling the upcoming Small Business Expo.

We will share the new date and time within the coming days.

While the date is changing, our theme, purpose, and commitment remain the same. We remain focused on bringing our community together to support small businesses, create meaningful connections, and provide opportunities for continued growth and success. We sincerely hope you can join us on the new date.

We appreciate everyone who has committed their time, resources, and support to the Expo. Your partnership is important, and together we can continue making a positive difference in our community.

Councilman John T. Chapman, City Council Member and founder of , joined the Alexandria Diversity in Business Expo to share insights on leadership, legacy, and local business growth.

Through his work with Manumission Tour Company, he curates guided tours that honor Alexandria’s rich African American history, ensuring that the stories of resilience, entrepreneurship, and community are remembered and retold.

His message reminded us that building for the future begins with understanding the past and that local leadership plays a powerful role in shaping spaces where both history and opportunity can thrive.
