πŸš’ SUPPORTING ONE OF OUR OWN

Firefighter/Paramedic Chase Maddox and his family are navigating a serious medical situation that has changed their lives in ways no family can fully prepare for. As Chase focuses on his health and the road ahead, his family is also facing the financial burden that can come with an unexpected medical crisis. Right now, Chase and his family need help from the community he has dedicated himself to serving.

Chase has dedicated himself to a profession built around showing up for others on some of the hardest days of their lives. Right now, we have an opportunity to show up for him.

Jackson County Firefighters IAFF Local has organized a GoFundMe to provide direct financial assistance to Chase and his family as they navigate the road ahead. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help ease some of that burden. And if you aren't able to give, sharing the fundraiser can help it reach someone who can.

Please keep Chase and his family in your thoughts and help us rally around one of our own when he needs his Fire Rescue family, and his community, most. β€οΈπŸš’

πŸ”₯ **Firework Safety Tips:**
β€’ Always follow local laws and regulations regarding fireworks.
β€’ Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby when lighting fireworks.
β€’ Never allow young children to handle or ignite fireworks.
β€’ Only light one firework at a time and move away quickly.
β€’ Never relight a firework that fails to ignite.
β€’ Keep spectators at a safe distance from all fireworks activities.
β€’ Dispose of used fireworks by soaking them in water before placing them in the trash.

πŸš’ **Protect Your Community:**
β€’ Avoid parking vehicles in a way that blocks roadways or emergency access.
