What a busy couple of weeks! Last week, we soaked up the sunshine and warmer temperatures while washing buses. We also walked to the Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse and donated ducks to the Kewaunee Public Library’s Rubber Duck Exchange Box.

This week brought cooler weather and a visit to Bruemmer Park Zoo. We stayed warm indoors with craft projects, designed T-shirts during a trip to the mall, and cooked alongside Algoma High School students. We also found time to celebrate staff member Whitney, who will soon be getting married!

And, of course, many of us are a little tired today after staying up late to watch the postgame celebrations. How about those Brewers?! ⚾ 💙💛 Bring on the World Series! 🎉

Thank you for creating opportunities for individuals to explore the restaurant industry and build valuable skills through food preparation, meal service, and dishwashing.

For the second year, ESI clients are hitting the trail for the Ice Age Trail Mammoth Hike Challenge! Throughout October, they’ll be exploring, staying active, and working toward an exciting goal:
• Together, everyone in the group will hike, walk, backpack, or run a total of 46 miles on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
• Visit 3 Ice Age Trail Communities
When they complete the challenge, participants will earn a certificate of achievement and a limited-edition Mammoth Hike Challenge patch! We’re proud of our clients for embracing this adventure, building confidence, and making meaningful community connections along the way. Please cheer them on as they take on the miles!

📸 The first photo features the first group of ESI clients kicking off this year’s challenge with their hike today! The second photo looks back at last year’s participants proudly receiving their certificates and Mammoth Hike Challenge patches.
