🧩 While the Kids Explore, Parents Can Too! 📚

Did you know the Algood Branch Library has something for everyone in the family?

While your little ones enjoy browsing books, reading, or playing with the toys in our children's area, parents and caregivers are invited to take a break with one of our puzzles! It's a relaxing way to unwind, keep your mind active, and enjoy a few quiet moments while your child learns through play and reading.

At the library, every visit is an opportunity for the whole family to discover, learn, and spend quality time together. Stop by the Algood Branch and make yourself at home-we've saved a puzzle piece for you! 🧩💙

The City of Algood in partnership with Putnam County has officially put a new water tank in service a bring the Brotherton and Buck Mountain areas. This improvement included a new pump station with advanced operating capabilities. Thanks to W&O Construction, Crom Tanks, and Hailey Engineering for a great project! We couldn’t do these without great staff and council support too! Walt Bradshaw and our Public Works crew are always on site managing and overseeing these projects during and after the process. Thanks to the Algood City Council for the future planning to maintain city infrastructure.
