Tomorrow night, children and families will be moving through neighborhoods after dark.
🚗 Drivers: slow down, put the phone away, and expect children to do something unpredictable.
👪 Parents: use lights or reflective material when possible, check costumes for visibility, and remind children to cross where drivers can see them.
👭 If older children are out without an adult, make sure someone knows where they are and when they are expected home.
Most Halloween safety is common sense. Common sense matters most when streets are dark and everyone is distracted or in a hurry.
Happy Halloween, Jim Wells! Stay safe! 🎃👻
