Welcome, Leadership Lovejoy Class of 2027!

Today was full of excitement as we welcomed our newest Leadership Lovejoy cohort with a special appearance by the Lovejoy High School Majestics. Participants spent the day taking a deeper dive into the people, programs and priorities that make Lovejoy ISD uniquely special, and had some fun along the way with a historical scavenger hunt!

Leadership Lovejoy brings parents and community members together to learn more about our schools, build relationships and gain a firsthand look at the work happening across Lovejoy ISD. We are excited for all that this group will learn, experience and contribute throughout the year!

🚌💛 National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23, 2026

Keeping our Leopards safe is always a top priority! This week, Lovejoy ISD joins schools across the nation in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week and reminding our community of the importance of safe driving and school bus awareness.

🚦 A few important safety reminders:

Slow down and stay alert in school zones and neighborhoods.

Always stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and stop arms are extended, as required by law.

Watch carefully for students entering and exiting buses.

Remind students to stay seated, follow bus rules, and use caution when crossing the street.

Let's work together to make every ride a safe one for our Leopards! 🐆
