Michael Donohue, Director of Education
I have been with ACO for 8 years. I was initially drawn to the organization because of my passion for helping others, working with people, and making a meaningful difference in our community. When the opportunity opened up for Education Director and Financial Coaching I applied and was extremely excited to get the call to take on that role.
As I gained experience, I developed a deeper understanding of the challenges our clients face and the impact our work can have on their lives.
My favorite part of this job is helping people recognize and better understand their financial struggles while working with them to identify solutions and resources that can help them move forward. I also truly enjoy working with clients as they pursue their GED. Seeing the pride and joy on their faces when they accomplish something they have worked hard for is priceless. I also value the people whom I work with. You get an opportunity to work with some wonderful people here at All Community Outreach, both staff and volunteers and I am so grateful to be a part of the team.
One of the greatest challenges is having limited resources to meet the needs of everyone who seeks assistance. Despite these limitations, we work diligently to maximize the resources available and provide as much support as possible. What I value most about my time at ACO is being part of a team that shares the same dedication to helping others and making a positive impact in our community.
