Allendale would like to thank Wright-Tallmadge Firefighters Association for the donation. We have a very great working relationship of working together. Our Automatic Aid response just got stronger!

Due to several years of fiscal responsibility and the negotiation tactics of their team Wright-Tallmadge Firefighters Association, they were able to purchase both of these trucks nearly 100% free and clear and donate to Allendale.

These two trucks have some really cool technology that will increase our abilities. We have huge 1,750 GPM pumps which mean we can flow a lot of water, quickly, and to supplement those pumps are larger 3,000 gallon water tanks. The Wright-Tallmadge Fire Department will carry 8,000 gallons of water, Allendale carrying 8,000, giving us 16,000 on an initial assignment thanks to Automatic Aid. With all of this water we can flow a lot of water through the Allendale Ladder Truck in our big water operations that we trained for.

As it was already painted Lime Green at the time of donation, so we had to have it wrapped red to fit in with our other red trucks. Huge shout out to Raap Signs for doing an amazing job.

As we wish each others members Happy Birthday today, as two different departments we truly work very well together. It is unusual that there are officers birthdays on the same day.

We would like to take a minute to wish Lt. Leale a very Happy Birthday! 🎉🎂

We have been waiting all day to see a birthday post on the Wright Tallmadge Fire Department page, but it seems they may have forgot to celebrate one of their own!

Maybe Wright-Tallmadge Firefighters Association Fire could show some gratitude to their officers.

Today we hosted Congresswoman Hillary Scholten to Allendale Fire to talk about Assistance to Firefighters Grants. We also demonstrated a Live Burn. This was all done as we work on a regional grant between Allendale, Crockery, Spring Lake, Marne and Zeeland City Fire Departments.
