I had a great time connecting with so many of you at the Irving Block Party last Friday! This event was a wonderful way to kick off the season. I look forward to meeting even more members of our community at future events throughout the summer!

The Lehigh County Public Defender’s Office is hosting Community Outreach Day this Saturday May 30th from 9am-noon at 617 West Walnut St. This event is a great chance to learn more about the many services available in Lehigh County.

Last Monday, we met with Celinés Toribio, the Vice Minister for Dominican Communities Abroad, in Allentown to discuss the challenges and needs of Dominican Americans in Pennsylvania. We appreciate the meaningful and productive meeting, and we look forward to collaborating to support our Dominican neighbors throughout Pennsylvania.

Unlawful operations of ATVs and dirt bikes are a public safety concern for law enforcement officers, as well as our neighbors, families, and friends. We need legislation to hold people accountable. No one should be afraid for their safety or the safety of others because of ATVs and dirt bikes.

Allentown already has received 161 calls related to illegal or excessively loud ATV and dirt bike use in 2026, compared with only 83 calls last year. https://mrf.lu/wKDB
