See the near-final mail-in numbers for the PA primary. While Republicans have shown improvement so far this year, Democrats still had close to three times as many mail-in sign-ups as the GOP and returned their ballots at a higher rate. This helped the Democrats to once again turn out more voters. In the coming months, Republicans MUST significantly improve our mail-in/early vote performance in order to win in November.

"For over a year, Win Again PAC has been working to get low-propensity conservative voters in Pennsylvania to adopt mail-in ballots. Arnaud Armstrong, its executive director, said they've seen modest improvements.

Two years ago, there were 3.4 Democratic mail-in voters in Pennsylvania for every Republican mail-in voter. As of Tuesday, that figure has fallen to 2.75 Democrats for every Republican.

"'This is the first hundred yards of scaling Mount Everest,' Armstrong said."

Mail-in ballots: Democrats maintain massive advantage in Pa. and the Lehigh Valley For every Republican voting by mail this April, there are 2.75 Democrats voting by mail, according to state data. Political observers believe it could give Democrats an advantage heading into the November election should the pattern hold.
