I’m celebrating with a look through my lens as a Pennsylvania Army National Guard storyteller. From the training grounds at Fort Indiantown Gap to missions with partners around the globe, I’ve aimed to capture strength, resilience, and history as it unfolds. Every frame tells a story—and every story reminds me why I serve.

⭐️Soldier Spotlight⭐️
Sgt. Francesca Chindemi is a combat medic with the 108th Medical Company Area Support, 213th Regional Support Group. Outside of the military, Chindemi attends nursing school and works as a nurse extern at a rehabilitation hospital.
“Through being a medic in the military, I’ve learned how to communicate really well with my patients and empathize with what they’re going through,” she said.
Chindemi was inspired to join the military to follow her mother’s footsteps, who served in the Air Force for 20 years - 4 years on active duty and 16 years in the National Guard and Reserve.
“I love the National Guard. It’s my happy place,” Chindemi said. “I love getting to interact with people, and it’s definitely broadened my horizon on a bunch of things. I think the military is what you make of it, and if you go into it with a strong attitude, you’ll find a lot of reward.”
