🚨 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: NORTH WHITEHALL VOTERS 🚨

If you received a mail-in ballot in North Whitehall Township, please watch your mailbox for a replacement ballot.

The Lehigh County Election Office has advised that a ballot question was worded incorrectly on the original ballot. Corrected ballots are being printed and mailed to affected voters.

When your replacement arrives, complete the ENTIRE ballot—not just the ballot question—and return it. According to the Election Office, your original ballot will be replaced by the new ballot.

You may return your completed replacement ballot by mail or at a county ballot drop box. Nearby locations include:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

📍 Slatington Borough Public Lot
256 Main Street, Slatington
Available 24/7 beginning October 27

The Election Office also advises that you may bring your replacement ballot and its envelope to your polling place on Election Day to surrender them and vote in person.

⏰ Your completed ballot must be RECEIVED by the Election Office or deposited in a county drop box by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Allow enough time if returning it by mail.

📣 Who won the Pennsylvania governor debate? Have your say!

ABC27 is asking viewers to weigh in after a debate in which Stacy Garrity delivered a forceful performance and clearly outshone Josh Shapiro. Garrity pressed her case on the issues, challenged Shapiro’s record, and gave voters plenty to consider.

Words matter—especially when they come from an elected official.

The statements made in this video, “We don’t need a ghetto,” made while discussing proposed district boundaries combining Allentown and Bethlehem, is racially insensitive and offensive.

Although it was later explained that the intended a historical reference to the Warsaw ghetto, that explanation does not erase the hurtful impact of using this language in a discussion involving our communities.

Allentown and Bethlehem are home to families, hardworking people, and diverse communities deserving of dignity and respect. Public officials have a responsibility to choose their words carefully and understand the people those words affect.

Our communities deserve respectful leadership.
