🎀 Fighting More Than Fire 🎀

Throughout the month of October, our Eastern Salisbury firefighters will be wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

We wear pink to honor those we have lost, stand beside those still fighting, and celebrate those who have overcome breast cancer. 💗

This is for our mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, friends, and fellow firefighters—and for every person whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

💗 October 2026 — Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Roadway has been reopened

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

South Pike Avenue is closed between Mountain Road and East Rock Road due to a downed utility pole.

We have had multiple vehicles drive through the road closure. While we understand this closure is an inconvenience, driving around barricades or road closure signs is both dangerous and illegal.

For your safety and the safety of emergency crews and utility workers, please obey all road closure signs and use an alternate route.

South Pike Avenue is expected to remain closed for most of the day. Updates will be provided as they become available
