Congratulations to FF Joe Angelicola for completing his Firefighter I certification and probie book to earn his seat as an interior firefighter. “The Mayor,” as he is affectionately known by the crew, is always first in line when work needs to be done and he takes any opportunity he can to attend trainings and learn new skills.

Tonight, 2 of our Junior Firefighters got inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at LCTI. Congratulations Nicholas Kannan and Casey Wells! Great job and we look forward to your success!

Western Salisbury is lucky to have instructors like Dev Kannan on board to help us excel in our company level trainings as well as prepare for certification testing. Dev’s passion for the fire service and for helping others become the best they can be is immediately apparent and very much appreciated!

Cooperation and assistance from all of our residents is greatly appreciated in the coming days. Members will be at station to ensure a quick response to all emergencies during the storm but please help us help you!

If you have a fire hydrant in front of your home please take a few extra minutes and make sure it’s clear of snow. Your home and life could depend on it.

So far in 2026, our volunteers have responded to 8 calls for service including 3 reported fires and 2 vehicle rescues. This incident on the east side of the township posed many significant challenges to first responders including uneven terrain, limited access, and icy conditions. Responders from multiple agencies worked together seamlessly to extricate the driver and provide safe transport to the hospital for evaluation.

Santa has finished his route and is heading back to the North Pole! 🎅✨
