The Lehigh County Democratic Committee mourns the loss of a true public servant and genuinely good man, Jeff Glazier.

A lifelong Democrat, Jeff dedicated himself to serving the people of Allentown with integrity, passion, and unwavering commitment through his work as Allentown City Controller, member of City Council, and the Allentown School Board. No matter the role, Jeff always gave 100%, working tirelessly to improve the lives of others and strengthen our community.

His leadership, kindness, and dedication to public service will leave a lasting impact, and he will truly be missed by so many.

Our deepest condolences go out to Carrie and the entire family during this difficult time. Thank you, Jeff, for your many years of service and devotion to our community.

The Lehigh County Democratic Committee Reorganization Administration Committee is now accepting Candidate Intent to Run submissions for officer positions within the Committee.

Members interested in serving in a four-year leadership role and committing their time, talent, and service as volunteers are encouraged to submit an Intent to Run form in accordance with Committee bylaws and announced procedures.

Additional information regarding candidate declarations, election procedures, timelines, and eligibility requirements will be issued by the Reorganization Administration Committee.

Congratulations to all of the candidates who stepped forward, put themselves out there, and participated in this primary election. Running for office takes courage, commitment, and a deep belief in public service, and every candidate deserves recognition for engaging in the democratic process.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly making calls, knocking doors, staffing events, greeting voters, and protecting the vote. Your hard work and dedication are what make our democracy stronger.

Congratulations to Bob Brooks for Congress (PA-7), Mark Pinsley for State Senate (SD-16), CeCe Gerlach for State Representative (HD-22), and Rachel Cuevas for State Representative (HD-187) on your competitive primary victories. We look forward to supporting you as we head into the general election and continue working together for our communities.

“Ghosh warned that committees like this are becoming more and more common in U.S. election cycles, adding that voters should scrutinize the TV advertisements and mailers they see before taking their contents at face value.

“The effort to meddle in the other party’s primaries, that’s been going on for some years now, and it’s becoming a little more common,” Ghosh said. “The real takeaway for voters is, when you’re seeing an ad, you have to be incredibly skeptical about not only who’s paying for it, but what their motivations are.”

Watchdog Files Federal Complaint Over Liberal-Backing Super PAC With Republican Ties The “pop-up” committee has spent more than $2 million supporting primary candidates in Pennsylvania, Nebraska and Texas.

The Lehigh County Democratic Committee condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the blatant antisemitism contained in this mailer. Political campaigns and primaries should foster robust debate on the issues without resorting to bigoted language or imagery. This mailer was sent by a third party.

A message to my Republican friends who live in the 133rd District which is Whitehall, Coplay, Catasauqua, Fountain Hill, Hanover Township Lehigh County and Bethlehem part of Lehigh County. First of all, I humbly ask for your vote in November. However, the Primary is next week and a man whose name is Mike is attempting to get signatures to get on the ballot and apparently did not put enough time to make it happen with signatures. He is now asking for write ins to get on the ballot. I have said nothing about this at all because everyone has the right to run. However when he posts this, I have to speak up. It is an insinuation that I don’t show up, listen or fight for the people. Many know how hard I work for this district and how much time, energy and caring I give. Here is his post:
