May was a busy month for ! Our team was out in the community connecting, supporting, and celebrating health, wellness, and local events. From attending BATTLE BORNE’s Walk for Wellness, to cheering on participants at the Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono 5K, and tabling at Fiesta on Hamilton, we loved engaging with community members and partners across the Lehigh Valley.

We can’t wait to continue building connections and supporting the incredible work happening in our neighborhoods 💙

Every student walks into school carrying a different story.

For some, it’s anxiety or uncertainty. For others, it’s a health challenge, a learning hurdle, or a lack of consistent support outside the classroom. What these students share is not the obstacle, but the opportunity that comes when schools are equipped to meet them where they are.

Through United Way Community Schools, students and families are connected to the resources, relationships, and care that help remove barriers and build confidence. When support goes beyond academics, students don’t just show up, they begin to belong.

This is what impact looks like in action. Curious to learn more about United Way Community Schools? Visit: https://www.unitedwayglv.org/united-way-community-schools/ 💙

TeenWorks has been empowering and developing youth leaders in the Lehigh Valley since 1999 🌟

The program combines skill-building, leadership development, and community service, providing real-world experiences for teens while they learn to run meetings, work with others, and lead projects that give back.

Many of the teen chairs have gone on to prestigious universities and accomplished incredible things after their time with TeenWorks. Their experiences help not only their futures, but the futures of the communities they serve.

had the privilege of attending the The Salvation Army, Allentown Corps event sponsored by Highmark Wholecare for expecting and new parents. This welcoming event provided valuable resources, education, and a sense of community for families navigating life with a newborn.

We were thrilled to see so many families come together to connect, learn, and gain the tools needed to feel confident and prepared on their parenting journeys. Thank you to Highmark Wholecare and The Salvation Army for hosting such a wonderful event!
