Today, alongside NRD staff from across the state, Miranda, Jennifer, and MaChaela attended Clients Day at Bessey Nursery in Halsey, Nebraska!

Clients Day provides NRD tree program staff with an opportunity to tour the nursery, inspect tree inventory, and learn more about Bessey Nursery’s operations.

A special thank-you to our tour guide, Joe Dugas, and the entire Bessey Nursery staff for hosting this event and sharing their knowledge with us!

Yesterday, we hosted the Southwest Regional Nebraska Land Judging Contest!

Thank you to all 13 schools and 241 contestants who participated! We appreciate everyone who came out and competed, and we are proud of the hard work and knowledge demonstrated by all of the students.

A special thank you to all of the advisors, NRD and NRCS staff who helped make the contest possible, as well as Kahrs Farms for generously providing the land.

Congratulations to our qualifying teams, and good luck at State next week!
