🏐💜 **8th Grade Volleyball Recognition** 💜🏐

On Monday, October 19th, we had the honor of celebrating our 8th grade volleyball players during their final middle school game against the Crane Golden Cranes!

It’s hard to believe how quickly these years have flown by! We are so proud of these athletes and the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and memories they have brought to Alpine Middle School. While their middle school volleyball journey has come to an end, so many exciting opportunities are still ahead!

To our 8th graders, thank you for representing AMS with pride. As you continue into new sports, new challenges, and the next chapter of your athletic journeys, we wish you nothing but success. Keep working hard, supporting one another, and making us proud wherever you go. Once a part of the AMS family, always a part of the AMS family! 💛💜

👻🎃💜 BOO BASKETS, SECRET SURPRISES, & A WHOLE LOT OF KINDNESS! 💜🎃👻

Something SPOOKTACULAR is happening at AMS! For the last two weeks of October, our AMS Faculty and Staff kicked off a BOO-tiful game of secretly gifting each other Boo Baskets! 🎁 To start the process, a few faculty/staff members stole the ghost with someone's name and secretly surprised them with some of their favorite goodies! But the fun doesn't stop there… Each recipient gets to choose the next person to BOO and keep the kindness going throughout the rest of October! 👻💌

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can make the BIGGEST difference in someone's day. Whether it's a favorite treat, a thoughtful surprise, or simply knowing someone was thinking of you, these little moments remind us how special our AMS family truly is. A HUGE thank-you to Ms. Casey Valenzuela and Mrs. Tracy Hyatt for bringing this fun to AMS this academic year! We can't wait to see the surprises, smiles, and spooky sweetness continue!

🍩💜 JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOWED UP! 💜🍩

What a SWEET way to start the week at AMS! This past Monday (10/19), some of our wonderful AMS PTO parents/guardians arrived bright and early to greet our students with SURPRISE DONUTS — just because they showed up to school! 🥹

From fun music and dancing to big smiles and sweet treats, our Bucks were welcomed with so much love and positivity before the school day even began! A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing PTO parents/guardians and volunteers who took the time to make our students feel special. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the BIGGEST difference! Because at AMS, we believe that SHOWING UP MATTERS, EVERY BUCK MATTERS, AND EVERY DAY IS A REASON TO CELEBRATE!

The safety of our students and staff is Alpine ISD’s highest priority.

After school today, Alpine ISD and the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) received a report of a possible threat against Alpine High School. Alpine ISD and BCSO are working together to thoroughly investigate this report.

Information gathered so far suggests this may be an unsubstantiated rumor passed from student to student. We have not identified an original threatening statement or found evidence substantiating a threat.

Even so, we take every safety concern seriously and are continuing to investigate the information reported.

Out of an abundance of caution and in line with district safety procedures, Alpine ISD campuses will have an increased law enforcement presence. We are grateful to our local law enforcement partners for all they do to support our staff, students, and community.

As always, please report any concerns immediately and directly to a campus administrator or law enforcement.

Also, please help us keep our community informed by avoiding the spread of unverified information.

Thank you for looking out for one another and partnering with us to keep our schools safe! As Bucks, we are stronger together.
