Modoc County Republican Central Committee This is the Official Page of the Modoc County Republican Central Committee located in NE California. The meetings are open to the general public.

We are YOUR Republican Central Committee, at the service of the community to promote fiscal responsibility, economic growth and limited government. Our meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:00 pm in the Sheriff's Annex located at 211 E 1st Street in Alturas, Ca. The Committee is made up of members from each of the 5 County Board of Supervisors' Districts in Modoc County. Members of the Committee must be registered Republicans and the number of seats per District is set by law. We currently have some vacant seats and are looking for people who are willing to work to make the Republican Party in Modoc strong and vital. The committee is dedicated to educating the community on issues important to the Republican Party and our community as a whole; recruiting & supporting conservative candidates; and maximizing Republican voter turnout. The Republican Party supports the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Capitalism, Free Enterprise, a strong National Defense, Deregulation, and Conservative Social Policies. We will be using this platform as one of our means of pushing out communication to our community and highlighting events for Republicans in the area to become involved. We encourage you to invite others to this group, and to attend our monthly meetings.

Steve Hilton, Republican candidate for Ca Governor visited Modoc County today.

We apologize the word wasn't spread more broadly prior to Hilton coming to Modoc, we (MCRCC) weren't involved in the planning of his visit.

My (Linda Newman) impression was he listened carefully to what people said and seemed willing to ask questions, hear what people said and learn.

Are you a Republican in Modoc County?

Due to life circumstances, coverage in our Modoc District Fair booth is basically down to one person, who also helping in another organization's booth. We need strong Republicans to come out and help man the booth. Not asking you to join the Committee (although it would be great if you did), we just need some volunteer man power! Contact Linda Newman if you can give even 1 hour!

🗳️ CALIFORNIA’S TOP-TWO PRIMARY CHANGES EVERYTHING.

The Governor’s race won’t be decided by the loudest voices on social media—it will be decided by the voters who actually show up.

If Republicans want a candidate in the Top Two, every vote matters. Sitting out this election is still making a choice.

âś… Vote early.
âś… Vote in person.
âś… Encourage friends and family to vote.
âś… Make your voice heard.

Your vote counts. Your absence counts too.

🇺🇸 Election Day is almost here. Don’t leave the future of California to someone else.
