This morning, the Modoc High School MCORPS Class had the opportunity to participate in an article search alongside Modoc County Sheriff's Deputies and the Modoc County Sheriff's Posse Search and Rescue Team.

The morning began with a briefing that provided an overview of the search mission and what students could expect in the field. For the next couple of hours, 15 of our MCORPS students participated in the article search.

This hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to practice teamwork, communication, observation, search techniques, and working alongside members of our local public safety agencies.

We appreciate the Modoc County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Sheriff’s Posse Search and Rescue Team for taking the time to work with our students and providing them with this valuable hands-on learning opportunity.
