๐ฆ Talk about a wild few days of hands-on learning! ๐ฆโจ
Region 16โs GT Department just wrapped up an incredible 3-day GT Seminar at the & Sanctuaryโand to say it was a success would be a total understatement! ๐พ๐ก
Over the course of three action-packed days, our Gifted & Talented students stepped outside the traditional classroom and jumped headfirst into science, ecology, and real-world discovery. Through dynamic, small-group breakout sessions, students had front-row access to field experts, tackled big questions, and explored scientific passions that truly brought learning to life. ๐ฌ๐ฟ๐พ
A massive thank you to everyone who made this event possible:
Amarillo Zoo & Sanctuary: Thank you for being such welcoming hosts, sharing your incredible facilities, and giving our students an up-close look at wildlife conservation and animal care! ๐ฆฉ๐ข
Our Community Partners: Your time, passion, and real-world expertise showed our students what career paths in STEM, agriculture, and science can actually look like. ๐ฅผ๐
Participating Schools & Educators: Thank you to the teachers, administrators, and chaperones from across Region 16 who helped organize, transport, and guide our students throughout the week. ๐๐
Most importantly, shout-out to our extraordinary GT students! Your curiosity, sharp questions, and energy made this seminar an absolute roaring success. You proved once again that when bright minds are given space to explore, the possibilities are limitless. ๐๐ธ
Until our next adventure... keep asking big questions and get outside! ๐๐พ
